Welcome!

Again, welcome to our blog! Blogs have become a popular new way of expressing your thoughts, opinions, and emotions, especially in reference to current events.

To start the class blogging, we will be working in the library/lab for a short period of time about once a week. Each week we will have a new assignment for you to accomplish. Let's get started!

This week's assignments:
  • Before we go any further into the new semester, we want to know more about you. Tell us a little about yourselves. Give us your name and tell us what kinds of hobbies and interests you have. How do you feel about the new semester?

    Hey guys! I'm Ms. Whelan, your enthusiastic student teacher from UNC Charlotte. I know we've just had one class so far, but I'm really excited about working with you all this semester.

    While I've decided to devote my time to teaching and helping students find and meet their full potential, I also have a passion for animals. Hopefully, one day I will be able to work with animal-assisted therapy in the classroom. We'll see...

    For the record, I have read and watched blogs in the past, but writing them is fairly new to me. I have enjoyed reading students blogs and the articles they've found that interest them. I hope you enjoy them too!

    Hi there guys! Just a few quick things about me--I am 37 years old, graduated from Penn State in 1993, am a huge Steeler fan and am really excited about the Super Bowl this year! I also have a beautiful new son named Zander who keeps us very busy--he has still not learned to sleep through the night.

    my name is brett lane im 15 i go to cchs. I enjoy to play sports and chill with my friends. i dont like drama .i was born in pheonix arizona and it is way better than north carolina

    i'm Sasha! I'm 16. I have a loyal friend named Katie Collins. I don't really like NC! I'm going to go to Chapel Hill, Tarheels are my teamm! uhm i dont have a kid, so i can sleep!
    i have pretty socks. i get distracted very easilyy.

    My name is Brooke Mcgehee I'm fifteen years old going on sixteen this March. My hobbies are reading, drawing, writing, Poetry, listening to music, chillin' on the computer, talking on the phone, hanging out with friends. I am a sophmore at Central Cabarrus high school. I don't have a favorite color. I love all colors! I have two little brothers, a cool dad, and crazy mom. I like the new semester. All my classes are pretty cool.

    Hey wats up! Ma name is serena and I am 15 years old. My favorite sport is basketball and I love to play it all the time. I moved to north carolina about a year ago from new jersey and i feel that north carolina is alright but kind of boring at times. I dont like school a lot but it can be fun at times.

    Hi..My name is Breanna Nicole! Im 16 years old. I'll be 17 on July the 5th. My favorite colors are orange, hot pink, & neon Green!! I have 3 sisters,2 older & 1 younger.I love hanging out with my friends. If it weren't for friends i think i would die. I love hunting & fishing. I go to my grandma's house in Virginia to go hunting. I haven't shot a deer yet but hopefully i will soon. I love to just get out & ride around whether it be on a 4-wheeler,dirt bike, car whatever. I love thunderstorms. It's actually relaxing. i have a very complicated life.School is great to.

    Whats up! My name is Tim Hoffner. Some of my friends call me Bocephus, some call me Timmy, but mostly I receive Tim. In May I will turn 17. I should be a junior but I failed my English 2 class in second semester last year. I enjoy acting and playing my trombone. I have a girlfriend who love so much. I call my best friend by his last name all the time. I guess that is why he calls me Bocephus. I've had Mrs. Biondi as a camp leader at UNCC, so I know her a little. If you would like to know I am in fact adopted. Enjoy my blog!
